MLP Season Finale thoughts under the break:
Over here, every Christmas there is a “Festival of Trees” Where people donate Christmas trees that they decorated, usually with some kind of theme, and they can include other things like toys, food, devices, etc. Then all the trees are sold and all the proceeds go to benefit the local children’s hospital.
It’s a pretty big event, there are hundreds of trees on display as well as wreaths, quilts, gingerbread houses, performances, food, all kinds of stuff.
I went last night with my family and it was fun, but the highlight of the evening was this little three-footer entitled “Christmas is Magic”:

Third day at my new job today and I got to work the pony rides! After spending most of the day with a couple ponies, I got to know them pretty well, and naturally I had to do MLP versions of them (with a little artistic license).
Lucky was pretty chill. She just went with the flow and never seemed to get agitated about anything and took the more difficult kids like a champ.
Dale is the most stubborn animal I’ve ever seen. Half the time I tried to start the ride, he would refuse to move until I went over and moved him myself. If the ride went a little longer than normal he’d snort at me and give me a look like I’m expecting too much of him. One time he just stopped before the ride was over when I made a move like I was going to stop it early. Smart pony.
They were both super fun to work with and I can’t wait to do it again.
